Psychiatry and Crime: Patients are not more violent than others:  Scientific studies assume that 30 to 50 percent of prisoners exhibit an anti-social character. Psychiatry is shorten in several terms: psychological disorders, depression, suicide, personality illness and others. In contrast, the crime is accompanied by different terms: murder, rape, theft, imprisonment, punishment, etc. At first sight, the terms is not related to each other, but the depth raises several questions: Do mental disorders increase the rates of crime? Are the criminals psychologically troubled? What are the psychological disorders shown by criminals and prisoners? What are the psychological motivations associated with certain crimes? Is violence the result of mental illness or the neglect of mental illness and not treat it increases the intensity of violence?
